Domingo Tapas - Reservar una mesa

Situated on a pedestrian street, one line back from the beach: more space than most of the rather congested bars on the front line. Stopped here for tapas lunch and a couple of beers. Fast, friendly service, cold beer (including 0% on tap). Three dishes we had were excellent. Prices certainly higher than we are used to at the beach in Castellon, but reasonable for Peniscola. They have a well-priced menu del dia, as well as deals on combinations such as mejillones bravas. Passed by earlier around 1230, and the place was absolutely packed with people drinking and enjoying the free small tapas (not the usual nuts, crisps or olives). Recommended!

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but we often rely on TripAdvisor for recommendations and so I feel it is right to highlight good and bad. The tapas we had at Domingo Tapas was terrible. The bread was stale the Potatoes hard and inedible. I would avoid so many other restaurants in Peñiscola serving delicious food, we just got unlucky choosing this one without consulting TripAdvisor first

Simple rustic bar in a busy restaurant square in the new part on town. Excellent selection of tapas, all good we've tried most after being here numerous times)!! Domingo and his staff are always welcoming!! Recommended!!

Stopped here for mejillones al vapor and pescoditos, both fresh and delicious! Friendly service and lovely vino blanco de la casa! Great location to sit and people watch too!

Welcoming and buzzing with local people. Staff are quick and efficient. Rustic rather than sophisticated.
