Dominos Albany Park is less than a mile from our house, but not feeling much like going out, decided to order 2 small pizzas on line. I confirmed the order at 8.42 p.m, and less than 5 minutes later, received an e-mail telling me ‘the team are preparing your pizza now, see you soon . . .’ At 2 minutes after 9, I received a text telling me the driver had left the store and was on his way. Given the distance, I took a £20 note, stood at the front door, and waited . . . And waited . . . and waited . . . . until at 20 past 9, I called the store to see if perhaps the driver had got lost, or worse, had an accident . . . I was told she would chase him and let me know. She didn’t, so at 9.35 I calle...
On my second visit, I ordered a collection pizza for £11.99 and paid with £12. Despite the manager counting her pennies, she did not offer me the 1p change. When I requested it, she seemed surprised and reluctantly handed it over with little grace. I have previously complained about this branch for its dishonest practices. It appears that the managers may be trained to cheat customers, which reflects poorly on Domino's Pizza.
Overall, the Bexley branch in Albany Park is not representing Domino's in a good light. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service leave a lot to be desired.
We like dominos pizza and loved the Sidcup store which we used for years, then this one opened. Now you can’t order for delivery from the Sidcup store you have to use this one. Never had a problem with delivery as in time of arrival, but the quality of the product is indifferent at best, too often we had poor pizza, with missing toppings, little cheese and sub standard toppings. Never had this issue with Other stores. I would urge you to avoid and use Sidcup instead, although you might have to collect.

I placed an order for 6 pizzas to be delivered at around 8:30pm on 18th June, and after not hearing anything for 45 minutes, I attempted to call. I had to call 46 times, with the line either being busy or someone picking up and immediately hanging up without saying anything. When I finally got through, I was told it would be another 2 hours. Awful. If I could give Got an incorrect order (items missing) thought it was a bad day. Tried again tonight, now sitting here 45 mins no sign, should have been 20mins. App says delivered. Ring up no answer. Eventually they answer and say the app doesn’t work and it will be another 15mins been that already. Clearly they stack the orders up till they have a few and mass drop. Will never use again not worth the money off coupons. Papa Johns next time!
With previous poor delivery experiences, tonight I ordered a collection. 20 mins post ordering I arrived, just as a text told me it was ready. 15 minutes later it was ready, no idea why it was so slow. Why bother with the app updates when as always they clearly don’t work! To be fair the Pizzas were very nice but the sides were all cold inedible.
I placed an online order for a family meal deal which was very easy to do. However, the delivery was late by 15 minutes. The pizza toppings seemed to be getting smaller while the crust was getting bigger. Despite this, the pizza tasted okay. The sides were also okay. As for the value for money, it's hard to say.
I always use this Domino's for delivery and takeout. The service is excellent every time. Thank you, guys.
