I’m genuinely surprised that I haven’t left a review for Cappy's yet. As a Hyde Park native, I’ve been going there for over 15 years. Many of the same familiar faces are still around, and Tom and Pete run an excellent operation, genuinely caring about providing a nice place for the community to enjoy lunch. Their delivery is always prompt, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are hearty. I often say that if Boston's weather is unpredictable, Cappy's pizza is the complete opposite – it's always made with care!
I was going to write a negative review originally because of a mess up a couple of weeks ago. I decided to call the manager first and I was surprisingly please with the way he handled the situation. He apologized and immediately resolved the issue, ina professional and friendly manner. The driver that dropped of the food has dropped off my orders before and he is very friendlyand respectful. I have been ordering from this location for year and will continue doing so.
The staff is consistently polite, and the food is always accurate and delivered quickly most of the time. There's only been one occasion when I had to wait longer than expected, and that was early in the pandemic when staffing was an issue. I order from this Domino's at least once a week, often on different days and at various times, so I feel I've had enough experience to assess them thoroughly. The only thing I wish they offered is broccoli as a pizza topping!
This is a great spot for pizza lovers who enjoy a hearty bread crust. They've always been consistent in adding plenty of sauce and cheese—I've never had an issue with that. The manager even instructs the pizza maker to add extra cheese upon request. However, I've noticed that since the pandemic, their portions of cheese and sauce seem to have decreased, and now they charge extra for any additional toppings. Reserva una mesa ahora
I order two pizza's , chicken , bread bites and a two liter of coke .. All my food was cold and my soda was warm ! Chicken and pizzas where cold and overcooked. Now I remember why I stopped going to Domino's. Do yourself a favor and save your money ...don't order from this Domino's .
