Great restaurant on the Burgberg in Meißen right next to Albrechtsburg and the Cathedral including views of the old town of Meißen. Ambience historically sculpted and lovingly arranged with many references to Meissen. Beautiful terrace directly at Burgberg. The food offer is natural, seasonal and somewhat more expensive for meek conditions, but the ambience resembles it. We had a great waiter who always had a fleeting but ingenious spell on the lips, you were already happy to get back to the table. Children's card available. Proper waiting times, although we were a large group. We were all happy and happy to come back.
Im Rahmen unserer 70. bzw. 75. Geburtstagsfeier in Meißen, waren wir im Domkeller am 26. 07. 24, mit 14 Personen unserer Familie zum Abendessen! Tolles, lecker zubereitetes Essen, sehr aufmerksame, freundliche und professionelle Bedienung, sowie ein atemberaubender Ausblick vom Balkon über die Altstadt bis hin zur Elbe! Great little Restaurant next to the Cathedral and Castle. Very friendly service english spoken. You must try the "Beergoulash" ...it's a goulash served inside a loaf of delicious bread and comes with a beer....only Euro The view from the veranda over old town Meissen..
Great view over Meissen. There is also a cool blonde. Very friendly also for children. A good place to recover after the ascent to the Domberg and the visit to the museum. Fair prices. Friendly service. You're welcome.

Service und Essen auf hohen Niveau. Ambiente historisch. Lokales Meißner Bier vom Fass. Auch Verganer sind hier gut bedient. Die Terrasse mit Blick auf Meissen ist einen Besuch Wert.
The Domkeller has a wonderful terrace overlooking the rooftops of the town centre. I enjoyed a delicious ice coffee in the late afternoon. Life is beautiful.

next to the cathedrale I find this small restaurant very old and has a fabulous terrace. normal prices.
