We were warmly greeted upon our arrival and taken to our table.Our family had driven passed the restaurant for many years and were very glad that we decided to have a meal there.I believe they have new management and it is a nice clean restaurant.The food was very nice, we had a variety from pizzas, prawns and one of the specials.My kids loved the pizzas and they also have a kids meal option.The menu is compact and the wine list has both local and imported options.Portion sizes are very good too.The wait staff were attentive and very helpful.It really gave me a vibe of a being a good "family" restaurant.A good option for the Sydney Road diners.There is plenty of on-street parking and easy ac...
We have been to Don Angelos many times but we came last week in Feb 2017 and found that a new owner had taken over 3 weeks ago... I decided to order my favorite at don angelos of gnocchi... I wish i hadnt!! It was chewy and leathery... So disappointing!... My husband had marinara and commented it was all sauce with two tiny shrimps in it... Our son ordered steak (7.30 pm) and after a while he was told 'sorry we are out of steak) so he ordered the chicken parma which under the previous owner he always found succulent and lovely).... He commented it was tough... We eat in coburg regularly (and many times at Don Angelis) but sorry we wont be back we were so disappointed.... The new owners & che...
I took a chance on Don Angelo's, unsure if I should go in. I was pleasantly surprised. I am a fan of Italian cuisine, but it can be difficult to find a good spot. Don Angelo's nails it! The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly. I tried the lunch special, the chicken parmagiana, and a double espresso. I can't wait to return!
This is a really great restaurant with an unassuming front and location. The food is lovely and very reasonably priced. We sometimes go for lunch (they have a good lunch range) and always buy our take away pizza from there. The staff are super friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely meal here....the gnocchi was the best so soft and smooth...the pesto sauce with it was also very good....pizza garlic bread was delicious and the service was friendly....we believe this restaurant has new owners.....well done .....we will be back!!
Friendly staff, pizzas taste amazing and great service. Serving size are generous, reasonable priced alcohol and we shared home made tiramissu( delicious). The renovations has made the restaurant more appealing.
Went to this place with group of four. Had the lunch special and the food is very good. Had pasta and margherita pizza and both are delicious. Service is good and price is reasonable.
Lovely restaurant , Quiet and the food was great. Very freindly staff and the food was reasonably priced. I would definately eat there again if i was in the area.
