For many years there have been the Pizzeria Don Camillo Peppone at Wuppertaler Laurentius Platz. The location is excellent, especially because of the outdoor gastronomy directly in front of the Basilica of St. Laurentius. Great Italian cuisine has never been offered here, but not promised. However, it was so good to hand, a neat pizzeria. Around 50 meters there are 3 other Italians (Primavera, Amalfi, La Terrazza, see the reviews here . In the further radius of 800 meters, 5 more Gastronomia Italia are added. At Don Camillo Peppone, the owner changed, a change that is obviously good for the company. We were four. The variety of food was decent and it was tasty. It was cool to see the chef using the huge pizza oven. I just wasn't impressed by the wine as well as Tiramisu. Also, the Corona hygiene concept in this place should be approved waiters not wearing mask or wearing them below the nose. Although we've been sitting inside we haven't been asked to show any 3G proof... Reserva una mesa ahora

Is that a great place or what? Italian restaurants were always my weakness, and I ate Italian all over the world. This is an authentic and excellent. The pizza dough was perfect like the sauce... and they didn't go cheaply to the mushrooms. The pasta was great and the service surpassed everything. I loved it and I would definitely come back...

the pizza was super good, the dough delicious thin and crunchy and the tomato sauce really nice with a fresh flavor. I recommend this restaurant. Service was also great.
