You just never know what is around the corner in this city.. and this place, literally a block from where I eat all the time, is an absolute rock star.
Firstly, very Japanese and a very authentic vibe.
It's a small place but feels really cosy and the service is very friendly and excellent.

for me. Small, casual cafe which was surprisingly busy on a weekday evening with students and non-students. I think it's a BYO as a few people had bottles of wine on their tables I had the chicken teriyaki bento box and my friend had the udon. Food is cheap here and I think it's reflected in the quality which, in my opinion was very average. The gyoza were probably the best and even those were slightly on the hard side All in all, I would say the food here is more suited for lunch or takeaway. Plentiful of staff so service is good. They're not necessarily the friendliest but are efficient.

No fuss no frill basic Japanese food around $10. I have tried udon, bento box and beef don, they were all delicious and generous portions. Don't expect posh decor or service, you actually have to pick up the food yourself from counter. But it is definitely good value for money.

Excellent choice for a rainy day. One does not want to be any closer to a fancy deco after you are half drowned In the street. The simple water proof furnitures make you at ease.
The food is simple, warm, not demanding on the stomach. It gives you the energy to step into the chill world outside again.

Cute little Japanese restaurant. Food is very well priced for what you get. The food was very satisfying and I have no complaints on the quality and service :)
