This was our first time at Don Pepe but not our last. There is a huge menu which includes many Peruvian specialties. Our lovely young waitress was delighted to describe these dishes in detail and after listening to any of our food preferences, made several recommendations. The service was absolutely terrible! To make matters worse, they had the audacity to add a tip to the bill without asking first. When we arrived, there was no one to greet us or show us to a table, so we sat ourselves down. The servers saw us but just walked by without offering to take our order or even give us a menu; we had to call them over for assistance. We ordered a to-go meal right when we arrived, and the rest to eat there, but the waitress forgot about the takeout order completely. As a result, we ended up waiting an additional 30 minutes for the food I ordered when I first got to the restaurant! The service here is truly the worst.
The place was not what I expected from the outside going in, it’s a beautiful setting white table clothes friendly staff I am giving it 4 stars on two factors. I didn’t eat in and the meal itself. I had take out I ordered the combo chicken salad and chaufa. The rice was delicious not oily and well seasoned. The chicken on the other hand fell flat. Not much going on and was a bit on the dry side.I will give them another try when I’m in the area. Hopefully it will be a dine in.
Be careful with those who serve at the bar, especially with Estafano and Jenni, they are shameless thieves. They were charging me for 3 more drinks on my account and when I complained to them, the very thieves and spoiled ones refused and I always gave them the maximum and more as a tip, I complained to the manager and they don't care, they are thieves and I won't come back again, I don't recommend it.

I ordered some chalacas, soups and the woman was very friendly. But that bartender is an animal. I asked him a question and I touched some flowers that were on the counter. He looked at me terribly as if he was going to steal them. very bad taste
Very rich and well served. The chili is very good, I would even say like in Peru! The only detail is that at the time of paying, 20% for tips was included, which I consider should be voluntary.
Amazing food, nice location and restaurant, convenient parking in the back, good portion and fair charge, definitely recommend, good experience for the first time there, 10/10 would go again
Quaint and cozy the service is wonderful their menu was very good and the food is prepared with love you must check it out

Been there quite a few times the food is always outstanding..the waitresses are also very sweet...attentive and helpful
Real authentic Peruvian food, any special that day for lunch or dinner pick anyone they’re all great amazing food
