The food is fresh and flavorful. The chicken soup, however, did not impress me. But the roasted chicken is absolutely amazing! I ordered delivery, and they even called to inform me that some prices listed online were incorrect, and I had actually overpaid (which I hadn't noticed). I mentioned that they should consider sending larger portions for family-style meals, as it seems they cater to big families. This place will definitely become one of my go-to spots. Thank you!
I had the Submarino Don Pepe, which featured fried calamari, fish marinated in lime juice, and either Peruvian paella with mixed seafood or seafood fried rice, and it was absolutely delicious. Our server mentioned that the paella and the seafood fried rice are essentially the same dish.
We spent the weekend in New Jersey and decided to visit this restaurant. The ambiance was fantastic, and the food was excellent. We took advantage of their happy hour for food, and it did not disappoint. The flavors were surprising, complex, and utterly delicious all at once.
