It was evident that there was something off with the employee who took my order. She recognized that her register was open for taking orders, so I approached her. While she was taking my order, she seemed completely out of it, gazing past me as if I weren’t even there. I tried to brush it off the first time, but it happened again while I was ordering. It was clear that something was troubling her, as I overheard her complaining to another employee, who appeared to be a manager since he was counting the cash.
I just ordered aguadito and a side of fried rice. I always order the same at the Montgomery mall location and the silver spring location, but at this location (Bethesda) the food is horrible. Literally, not even a dog would eat what I was served. The aguadito was a container of water with a lot of cooked white rice and a spoon of cilantro paste, not even mixed! And the chaufa barely had any color and flavor. A waste of money! I will not order from this location ever again!
I am quite disappointed with the service at this restaurant. When I visited, I ordered half a dark chicken, but the cashier told me that they couldn’t fulfill that order, even though it was available for online ordering. As a paying customer, I should be able to order and receive what I want. Please address this issue with your front staff, as their behavior greatly influences how customers perceive your business.
The food was great. The side salad was not what I expected because the other places in Rockville and Briggs Chaney serve a salad with beet and non-green paprika. It was okay, but I prefer the other salad. Nevertheless, the chickens, rice and beans were just like the other spots, so thumbs for consistency.

I've visited this place several times for takeout, and I have to say, the classic Peruvian chicken is fantastic. The staff is friendly, and the chicken is full of flavor. The prices are also quite reasonable.
I picked up grilled chicken a few times. The service is fast and the staff are nice. The chicken could benefit from a little bit more spices. I recommend this place.
This was the best chicken I've ever had in my life! The plantains and corn pico were very good too. I'm definitely going back before my vacation ends.

Great Rotisserie Chicken Peruvian style. Yucca and Fries are crispy and fresh!
