I've visited this restaurant several times, but I was not impressed with the food. I really enjoy pupusas, yuca frita, chicharrón, plátanos fritos, and horchata. Usually, I drive all the way to Silver Spring, MD, for Salvadoran food at El Comalito, as their offerings are much better. Unfortunately, the food here didn't have the same flavor, and the service wasn’t very friendly. That’s why I decided not to return. I tried to leave some constructive feedback on their Facebook page, but I think the owner blocked me. I apologize for being honest.
Dasher and delivery was great, but the restaurants food was not. No longer has salsa roja/ red sauce with pupusas. Served some sort of green sauce. Food was very bland without it. Also greasy. This place used to be better.
Everything was incredible! My girlfriend ordered two pupusas, one with pork and cheese and the other just cheese, and they were incredibly satisfying. I tried the empanada platter, and they were the best I've ever had.
The woman and I decided to try somewhere new and choose here, we were definitely not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. Food was very good and we had enough to take home for leftovers.
