Like other reviewers that unfortunatly read after delivery. I ordered a hot dog instead I got a cheap, stale burger bun(it is literally hard) with sliced hot dog in it. Before I made order I asked them not to wrap the hotdog in paper as...the cheese will stick to it, the girl on the phone said sure no problem this is when she should have told me that it was not the usual hot dog. When I called the resturant after delivery they were so rude about it saying it 's our business and we can do what we want this was their response to me suggesting that the should advertise that it is not a traditional hot dog. They refused to refund my money.
drive 12 kms to find most items were not available. I have flathead that was caught/Frozen pre covid curldown, chips tasted as if they were precooked, then frozen before lockdown and reheated, no meeresschnalle (next month apparently) no calamari in the cabinet so assumed that they...has no, but later said we have some (so I suppose it was in the frying cabinet) as I had many more harm there. for driving on 2 McDonald’s on the way in
The fish and chips at this restaurant are amazing, with great service and friendly staff. I will definitely be returning, especially because the young man, who I assume is the owner's son, always provides excellent service. Overall, the pizza, burgers, and fish and chips at Donatello's are delicious. However, the only problem is that I end up gaining 5 kilos a week because I order so much food every day.

soggy chips, and the skin still on the broken fish that was also soggy. these are the worst fishing and chips we ordered in canberra and the overall quality here is excellent. it is not difficult to deliver crisp fried fish without skin, and. crisp crispy chips. there was no salt in the round, let alone chicken salt, on the chips. poor.
Hamburgers are great. Chips are hot and crispy great. Sadly, the fish has let me down twice now didn’t taste fresh, overcooked. Batter tough and brown possibly due to overcooking. Will give the “fish a miss” in future a pity really.
Donatello's is a pretty good fish and chip shop. They pride themselves on fresh produce and have a good salad bar and gelati freezer. I haven't tried their pizzas yet. There is some seating outside if you want to eat there.
The burgers are delicious and juicy, the potato scallops are not greasy, the pizza is divine, and there is a wide variety of affordable salads. The staff is always pleasant and helpful.

Ummmm. Rubbish. Seriously grim. Rude man. Hot dog on a burger bun for $5. I like to support the little guys, but honestly won’t be back.
