The mussels with the sauce was great! A very good cook, I must say. Unfortunately, the service was poor. It took 20 minutes to get us gals drinks when there were barely any customers in the pub. It was a late Wednesday evening, June 28, 2023. The waitresses/bartender were wanting to go home, I believe and if that was the case, then they needed to inform us. However; they did take the time to serve us when they felt like it. Then the waitress turned the page, went to my table, spoke to my friends at the table while I was outside having a cigarette and falsely accused me of throwing up outside on their patio!!! I was very hurt, angry and upset and I couldn 't believe that she did that. I curse...
The serving staff were cheery and helpful. We were there while the live music was on. It was entertaining, though it was a bit difficult to hear conversation, even being in the next section of the restaurant. I tried the brie and apple sandwich. The flavour combination didn't suit me. We tried two of the many choices of wings, which were nicely done. I would visit again.Dietary restrictions: Our server was really good about answering allergy questions, which made the menu easy to navigate and improved my experience.
Only place I will eat at in Surrey that is near me... staff are superb... food is delicious and at a reasonable price... place is designed really cool in terms of seating and place for the band to play from... my only complaint is that they actually ran out of Guinness once... an Irish pub ran out of Guinness?!?! Realllllllly?!?! Surrey's best pub!
Food was okay, we ordered the pulled pork poutine, deep fried pickles and 2 pounds of wings.The pickles were good, the wings were good but the poutine wasn't great. The pulled pork was chewy and not tasty. The fries were alright though. Seems like a nice environment to hang out and have a few drinks. Service was really good too.
