Best food and service in Bangor. I’ve been going for years and have never had a bad meal. Fresh ingredients and great portions and the staff are wonderful. We had another fantastic meal at this restaurant! It is definitely worth the trip. The staff are very friendly and efficient, always making time for a chat and making us feel welcome. The prices are great and the portions are generous. We have tried three different items from the menu so far and they were all excellent. We appreciated the small cup of soup and wheaten bread to start. The chef deserves lots of praise. The atmosphere is cozy and overall we had a wonderful experience. We would give it a 10/10 recommendation. Ivan and Amy are such a credit to the place, they work so hard. Thank you for another lovely night.
My husband and I visited Donegan’s for the first time on Saturday and we absolutely loved it. The bar staff were friendly and entertaining, even dancing behind the bar which brought smiles to everyone. We also enjoyed the free music bingo on Saturday night. We liked the place so much that we went back for Sunday lunch. I had the chicken stack and my husband had the turkey and ham dinner, both of which were delicious and generously portioned. This was our first visit but certainly not our last.
First time visiting and we had a warm welcome, lovely authentic Irish pub. Food was excellent, portions are big! Good options for different tastes and dietary requirements.
