RANCID FOOD, STAY AWAY!!!! Here 's a review that might just save your life. We tried this eatery for lunch two weeks ago and were encouraged the inviting decor and pleasant staff. They offered us the dinner lobster menu as new customers, and so we both ordered different lobster dishes. Both meals looked well prepared and plated, but the first bite of my lobster tail told me that something was very VERY wrong with my lobster tail, as it REEKED of a strong ammonia taste and odor. Arrived 8:10pm on 8/26/23. We chose to sit outside. Took almost 45 minutes for our drinks to come.a glass of wine and a classic Margarita. We had looked online at the menu prior to going and had a good idea what we wanted to eat. The dinner menu is totally different than the online menu, extremely limited. I dined at this restaurant on 8/14/23 with a friend and we both enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. We had planned on returning, but two days later I noticed a $153 tip added to my card statement on top of the generous tip I had already left our server. I tried contacting the restaurant multiple times to resolve this issue, but only received empty promises. Unfortunately, the dishonesty of this establishment has left a bad taste in my mouth. It's disappointing that what was supposed to be a great experience was ruined by being overcharged, as I would have likely returned as a regular customer. My family went there yesterday for the 1st time. We sat outside since it was a wonderful evening. The food was wonderful. I loved the ropa vieja and served beautifully in a small caldero.
