Donnelly's Irish Pub

The menu items are hit and miss for me, but my family likes the food and the fried chicken meal is pretty good if you're very hungry or want leftovers. They have interesting decorations on the walls and TVs with sports channels. The most recent time we went, they were busy when we got there, but the girl at the front said there was an empty table across the room they just needed to clean and it would be a 10 minute wait. Great! We had a large-ish group (7 , so that was perfect—except then, after the 10 minutes were up, she told us it would be another 20 minutes, even though we had watched them clear off the table and other, smaller groups were let in and seated while we waited (maybe they ha...

Food was brought out 45 minutes after we ordered. Waiter told us that fried catfish takes 30 minutes to prepare after he brought it out. I don't like being lied to. The fries were limp and cold. Additionally he avoided us during that wait because he realized we planned to drink our beers with dinner so I guess why pay attention to your customers? Maybe explain why something that I do in my kitchen takes 10 minutes and your magical fish takes 3x as long? We won't be returning.

This is a great little pub. I lived in England for nearly 20 years and travel all over Wales, Scotland and Ireland, so I 've had a great many meals and drinks in many many pubs. This place has the best 'pub ' atmosphere that I 've found here in the States. The majority of 'pubs ' here in the US are pretty much just a pub themed restaurant, but not this lovely little gem. I had the traditional pub grub, bangers and mash, and it was great. Definitely a must go to place.

First time coming here as we don't live in Peoria. The atmosphere was welcoming and definitely had an Irish touch to it, when looking at the venue was disappointed to see not much irish dishes. No shepherds pie. I was looking forward to Boxty. It is a pub dressed as irish. not an pub with irish food. The food we did get was good though! Service was nice. Guess we should have checked the menu before arriving.

The vegetable salad for $7.25 was very, very sparce for the price. I am a vegan and the only other food choice was the Impossible burger which is fine. BUT all sandwiches came with nothing else and were pricey at $13.00. Not sure I will be back. Service was Excellent!

Come a few times a month for lunch and a drink always great food and great service. They pretty much know what I'm going to order now since I come regularly now. The Hamburger is my favorite with a Jameson Orange and lemonade

Love Donnelly's Pub. Tenderloin sandwiches was the lunch special. That's what 2 people had and they were very pleased. I had the buffalo chicken salad which was great

Very friendly service. Food was exceptional. Definitely worth the stop! My husband and I split a reuben and fries. They brought everything out on 2 plates.

Great food and service reasonable prices 50 cents for a side of mayo got our whole order wrong but they made it right for the second time

Great Family that operates this establishment. Very nice destination to have a drink, meal, meet friends.
