Warning: Wonderful Donuts are born here! It is no wonder this « hole in the wall » like donut place is recognized nationally. The food network reported on them, so did many other specialized publications focusing on bringing the best tastes straight to your mouth. The selection is excellent, the staff is welcoming and takes the time to show you/ explain what is in the donuts you are selecting, and intimately you’ll start being uncontrollably hungry by simply reading the well thought and inspiring names given to each type of donuts. As far as taste is concerned, a donut is traditionally a breakfast item. These ones deserve to be classified as high end dessert food. Enjoy every bite.
During our vacation, we enjoyed getting donuts a few mornings, and Donnie's Donuts truly impressed us! We ordered a 3-pack, and every single one was fantastic. I found the prices to be reasonable for the quality of the donuts. We arrived a little later in the morning, so some flavors were already sold out, but the selection and variety were still excellent. I really wish I had gotten a few more, but it's probably for the best that I didn't. It was a wonderful way to start the day!
Wow! Calling these donuts phenomenal would be an understatement. The donuts are amazing on their own, but they transform into beautiful creations with their toppings! Nothing is overly sweet; everything is perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. The apple pie donut was the standout favorite. I've tried Fruity Pebbles donuts before, but this one was definitely the best, along with the blueberry donut. I can't wait to go back! The kids loved them too, which is always a bonus!
My husband and I are vegan. We reached out about the hours they sell vegan donuts and someone promptly got back to us. I think they sell the vegan donuts on Fridays, Saturdays, and maybe Sundays until sold out. The donuts were tasty, but WAY to sweet for my liking. The vegan blueberry donut was the least sweet between itself and the classic sugar dusted donut. I don’t know exact name of the donut. Nothing is overwhelmingly sweet and it’s all well balanced and packed with flavor. Apple pie was the overall favorite. I’ve had a fruity pebbles donut a few times but this was by far the best with the blueberry donut. Can’t wait to go back! Kids loved it which is always a plus too!
I had high hopes for these donuts since they're highly rated and seem to be one of the only options in New Smyrna Beach. While they looked fantastic, the flavor was underwhelming. All the donuts had the same base (except for the blueberry) with only the toppings varying. They're all cake-based, which gives them a nice texture and tenderness, but overall, I don't think I'll be returning.
This charming little drive-thru is truly the best in town! The staff is consistently friendly, and the donuts are both whimsical and delicious. I like to pick up a dozen for the office from time to time, and it always brightens everyone's day! I highly recommend stopping by for a delightful treat if you're in the mood for something unique. Their iced coffee is fantastic as well!
