I decided to try some food from this restaurant because they were offering a promotion. I work near this place and have always been curious to try it. I wanted to wait before writing this review to make sure it was my genuine opinion. Unfortunately, I have to say that it was the worst tasting dinner I have ever had. I couldn't even finish it. I ended up taking the leftovers home for lunch the next day and still couldn't eat it. It was a total disappointment. I ordered 2 pork and 2 beef tacos, 2 on corn and 2 on flour tortillas. The only problem was the food itself - the tortillas, sour cream, etc. were fine, but the actual meat was terrible.
After 5 years, I decided to update my review of this restaurant. The place was just as busy as always, with great tacos and a lively atmosphere. The karaoke seemed to be a hit with customers. Unfortunately, the service has definitely declined. We waited for 4 tacos, but only received 3. When we inquired about the missing taco, we were told that it had not been ordered. However, after showing our receipt, the server realized the mistake and promptly brought us the missing taco. I'll give them a star for making it right in the end.
The Carnitas at this restaurant are consistently tasty, made with fresh ingredients. The Key Lime Pie is also very refreshing. However, the Chips and Guacamole was disappointing as it had large chunks of red onion and a small portion of bland guacamole with no cumin or salt. The serving of chips was large in comparison.
We love this restaurant and I would have given 5 stars except that we paid $5 for queso and got the tiniest little to-go cup. I feel like we should have gotten about 3x that for the price. Wont be ordering it again, but the tacos were great as usual.

The tacos are incredibly tasty, but we were disappointed by the lack of quantity in the $5 queso dish. The portion was very small, only about 1/2 cup, compared to the large amount of chips provided.
super delicious tacos, fresh ingredients. but tacos can be dry early in the week or during lunch from time to time. late night at the weekend is the best time to visit.
Good pool bar but not much to compare to around Richmond. Tacos are decent enough. Adequate beer selection. Definitely the place to go if you want to play pool.
The portions are generous and the quality is fantastic. This is the best Mexican restaurant in RVA by a wide margin. It offers the best value overall in RVA.

Tacos were flavorful and stacked full of meat and toppings. Ordering for pickup was easy and time saving.
It was incredibly tasty food! The beef and the pork tacos were the best I have ever eaten!
