Dooney's Pub Delran

We haven't been to Dooneys for over 3 years because the service was terrible and the food was blazing the last time we were there. I'm very happy that my husband and I recently tried it again. In fact, we were there three times in the last few weeks because it's just so good. We had Emily as our server all three times and let me just say...she is not only pleasant, but she is very helpful and knowledge about the menu and drinks. The burgers are perfect for our request (medium/rare), the scallops and the scallop sliders are perfectly cooked and so delicious. The Calamari is unique and now my fav calamari jerrrr! My husband is hooked to the Irish nachos!! I can't wait to visit Emily this weekend. Thanks for changing our thoughts, Dooneys!!!

Yesterday it went to St. Patrick's Day and had a great time! It was so packed that my girlfriend and I waited at the bar and enjoyed some live music. We were sitting in about an hour, which I thought was very reasonable under the circumstances. The service was like an ordinary night, very fast and the food was great! Try the wings with the Guiness BBQ sauce, the reubs and Prime Rib sandwich! I also like the atmosphere and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely return!

We just moved to the area and found Dooneys. You know it's a big Irish pub when they have Guinness and Smithwicks on Draught, and when I ordered a blacksmith, they didn't even take a break! The Calamari was excellent! Both my wife and I had the fish and chips... The fish was so tender and the dough was right. It was easy to taste that were both fresh and not frozen! We can't wait to go back and try the Guniess stew!

After 2 years overseas and back to Riverside to visit family and friends, it was very nice to come to a big pub and restaurant. The service was great, I ate and drank at the bar. Julia was brilliant, I hope to come back before I return to Hampton, VA.

Best Shepards Pie outside of Dublin (believe me, I've been there. String beans were perfectly cooked. Love the fried pickles. Great staff, better drinks.
