The chicken was undercooked, and the mac and cheese was bland and hard, with barely any cheese to justify the name. The yams were decent, and the collard greens had a bit of spice, but they also needed more seasoning. I'm quite disappointed because I expected better from what I thought was a "Soul Food" restaurant.
The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. I'm thrilled to have discovered such a great soul food restaurant—10/10! Although I didn't receive my Sweet Potato Pie and instead got pound cake, which I'm not a fan of, the food was so amazing that I wasn't too disappointed.
food here is excellent and southern cooking and seasoned. better then anything else I had in town
