I often take visitors, especially English ones for fish and chip night in Eymet here in sunny France. Last week I took my former neighbours. They were delighted as they only moved lock stock and barrel two weeks ago. They live two hours away and do not have a fish and chip wagon near them. I not only love the fish and chips and mushy peas which are ready and waiting for you at your appointed time after you order them either by phone or email. I always order them now as I was soooo disappointed once when there were no fish left once. We gave up on this a few years back, when we realised it was not well catered, but fortunately now, it's under new ownership and no longer does it serve food cooked in old oil etc.Under new ownership and well worth it! We shared a large piece of cod and more than enough chips for two of us, just 11 Euros,......and boy was it delicious! We're sure once the word spreads that this enterprise is now under new ownership, you will start increasing your customer base even more.Well done Andrew, keep up the good work and we shall definitely visit you again!
We were somewhat perplexed, whilst we sat drinking our evening snifter at a local bar, when we saw a queue of people forming on the car park in the square in Tremolat, as we could not understand what they were queuing for. Then The Dordogne Chippy arrived. During the time we were at the Bar many many people were served. We could only assume that this was a very popular attraction. I think the visiting times vary, this was a Wednesday. Worth enquiring about if you fancy Fish & Chips.
Life doesn't get better than this All the beauty of a quaint French village, gorgeous weather, friendly people and traditional British Fish and Chips. Last Friday of every month we make a pilgrimage to Daglan to spoil ourselves and indulge in the greatest comfort...food ever invented. The fish is succulent and delicious, the chips thick cut and delicious, the peas mushy and delicious, the vinegar sharply acidic and delicious, it's all just simply... too delicious for words.

Sometimes when you are on holiday and crave a bit of food from home a portion of fish and chips is a nice treat. We bought from the Dordogne Chippy at a Village festival in Tremolat. Ten euro for fish and chips, very nice! The van was very busy so had to place an order and come back, but no major drama.
Really nice to be able to find such good fish and chips in the South of France. Andrew is a perfectionist : proper English chips (potatoes imported and prepared), lovely fish, grerat price, he's got them spot on ! Keep up the good work !
We often have fish and chips and we love them. Andrew is very particular about the quality of his fish and chips and Karen is always helpful and tries to squeeze us in so we don't wait to long. I would recommend this to everyone
Ok. Portion size good, but batter a bit too thick and crispy for my liking. Didn't have some of the items listed on their menu, such as mushy peas and curry sauce, even though we were there early

Lovely food, but apart for that very poor service and overall very rude attitude from the lady. We shall not be going back to be spoke to like s***.
Simple reliable food, great when you are busy or at a market and you need good old fashioned fish and chips.
