Leaving another review after reading Marine 's review below. What a French snob she is sounding like, ruining it for other French people! Thierry, the baker and owner, is French for that matter. We drive 40 minutes each way to get pastries at Dore and have done so for the past 8 years. The pastries are definitely French and are of better quality than from some of Boulangeries and Patisseries in Paris. We moved from South Bay in April and were very happy to have found these excellent French bakery. My favorites are Danish and Baba au Rhum. People who give 1 star or take out a star, only for bakery do not work on a suitable for them hour or because they do not deliver to another city simply ridiculous! Sometimes I doubt humanity
Their pastries are superb. Their vanilla latte was strong and tasty and their mango smoothie was delicious. Very friendly customer service. Clean place and plenty of parking. I saw the owners kids behind the counter, which was really cute. I like supporting small family owned businesses :

The selection here is absolutely amazing, the prices are reasonable, and most importantly, everything is delicious. The staff is very friendly, which is definitely a bonus! They also serve fantastic breakfast croissant sandwiches. This is our favorite local bakery!
This is the best French bakery in the Bay Area, a hidden gem located in Brentwood! The prices are reasonable for such exquisite treats. Since it's conveniently situated next to the AMC, you can enjoy their special pastries instead of the usual popcorn.
This charming little bakery has some amazing treats! My husband and I picked up a variety of pastries to share with our family, and everything was delicious! We can't wait to return and sample their paninis next time.
The pastries are lovely, and I really appreciate the excellent customer service. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and it’s usually not crowded.
