we have returned to the village chronicle after a wine tasting in the vinothek swab to dinner. the menu is varied and we have chosen interesting appetizers and main dishes. the service is very praised. all dishes were high, very well prepared and appealing. we draw a point because of the size of the portion. even though we had pre- and main meals, we would not be fed! without plundering the bread basket to the main dish completely, that would certainly have been even more extreme. at home, as opposed to the hunger first time ne bag chips. pity actually, because the restaurant visit was really nice and also not very cheap. because it was still very delicious, we will come back, then eternal w...

we were welcomed very friendly in the village chronicle, the restaurant is also really cozy. it was a South Tyrolean week and we were very pleased with the specialties, especially since there would be a lot to offer here. as first, no one South Tyrolean wine was offered. the wee of the regular card was really good, but a South Tyrolean week also belongs to a corresponding wee! then the selection of South Tyroleans was rather lean and limited to schlutzkrapfen and the like. to the main dish I had delicious ochsenbacke, but the dumplings were unfortunately already completely dried out and there was nothing to warm up. to the south Tyrolean dessert were then fed from the glass.
who once was there will always return. Although there are not few good restaurants in pfalz, the village chronicles are now among our favourite guest houses. the selection of feeds is manageable but always diverse enough, the quality excellent! the delicious weine and champagne can be bought at place and place and take with. the atmosphere is always very friendly, meanwhile even friendly.
we were visiting in the austerity season in maikammer and had a lush portion of white asparagus with a calfs carving. really good, also the excellent wine of the owner and it was a recipe for a perfect evening. highly recommended.
delicious food, very beautifully dressed. rustic or modern. the saumagen was very delicious, also the other dishes. weeping out of your own. the late burgunder was particularly good. we'll be back.

typical restaurant, very beautiful! excellent and typical food for the opposite excellent wines from own production "weingut stefan schwaab"
in a challenging and attractive atmosphere we enjoyed the regionally oriented kitchen. the service was courteous and friendly.
