On the wall at the booth that we sat at there is a sign that says in German Come as a guest. Leave as a friend. And that 's exactly how it played out. The food is delicious and the owners exceptionally kind and lovely. If you are already lucky enough to have discovered and come to Isaltwald it would be ideal for you to stop in this cozy spot. In just a single sitting I wanted to extend me stay just so I could dine with them a few times over. Herzlich und warm!
If you are anywhere close to Restaurant Dorfpintli in Iseltwald do yourself a favor and go there immediately. The food is incredible, the ambiance is quaint, and Joe Elena are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. I ordered the Schweinsschnitzel and my wife got the Fischknusperli and both were something out of a tasty fantasy, where our tongues were treated like the Kings and Queens of yesteryear. Also, the ice cream is homemade so try it!
