Another visit to Dottys in Staithes. Such a wonderful,delightful place to visit For breakfast lunch or afternoon tea. Very welcoming,beautiful surroundings. Amazing atmosphere,dog friendly,unique. Staithes is a lovely little idyllic harbour village. Some lovely shops , art gallery and pubs. Easy walk to the harbour. On the way back we stopped at Dotty's Tea Room for snack. Opted for a cream tea and weren't disappointed. The scone was cooked fresh and was tasty. All in all a pleasant experience and look forward to returning. 10/10 for staff , fayre and value !!

There was a sign outside encouraging people to go inside and we are so pleased we did! Dottys is a little gem. We only had room for tea and a teacake (him) and tea and a piece of yummy Victoria Sponge (me) but we are sure everything is delicious! All served by super friendly people too. The hot chocolates looked simple AMAZING! When next in Staithes we'll be back.

We keep coming back to this restaurant year after year and always look forward to our visit when we're in Whitby. After a walk along the Cleveland Way towards Saltburn, we stopped at Dotty's for a delicious coffee and cheese scone. My husband loved his hot chocolate and bacon roll. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and the service is friendly. The food is fresh, and they had no problem accommodating my gluten free needs so I was able to enjoy the mackerel pate, which was delicious. I even got the recipe from the lady. The chai latte was also excellent. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Thank you.

We visited Dotties last year and were looking forward to coming back for lunch this time (last year we just opted for cake and tea). It was a lovely experience! The food was delicious and the staff so welcoming. It’s such a lovely place and the Victoria sponge is the best EVER! Thank you so much x

This tea room is simply amazing to visit. The beautiful old world decor is even more stunning at Christmas time. The food and drinks are amazing and the owner is fabulous. It is always a must for tea and delicious cake.

A lovely big pot of tea and a generous portion of victoria sponge in a traditional comfy and quirky tearoom. Very nice indeed!
