This little cafe in a suburban shopping centre is a real find.The menu options aren;t extensive but what they do they do really well.I don't often see cajun food on a menu here, and so asked why the chef had listed it. Seems he's worked there in the past so I decided to be brave and order it to see if it matched some of the New Orleans food I'd eaten in the past.Well it was definitely authentic cajun food, really spicy without being just chilli hot, and the right amount of okra to give the gumbo some thickness without it getting gloopy. First choice for coffee and breakfast! I have been here so many times and never let down.. The coffee is great and the customer service to go with it! The set up is really nice and had a welcome feel. You cannot book a table for less than 8 people but the turn over is pretty fast, I have never had an issue getting a table (from 2 or is to 5 of us)..
Very friendly staff...a menu with lots of different choices and different to the usual things in most other places. We were a group of 6 on a Sunday morning. The cafe was humming....they were also doing a roaring trade in takeaway coffees. Amongst our group, we had the Morning Salad, Mushroom Magic
Thrilled this has opened within walking distance of home. Try to get down once a week. Fantastic coffee. Loved the Spring Lamb Salad at lunch with a glass of wine. Good selection of food for breakfast and lunch. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Parking good. Definitely worth repeat visits!!

Meet me at Double Barrel Kitchen for our weekly meeting he said! And boy am I glad he did. This little place was absolutely buzzing. Beautiful display cabinet, amazing staff, great atmosphere. The only problem I had was choosing one thing to order because they all looked great!
Found this by accident, brekky time so I thought I'd give it a try. Had the Bruschetta and it was lovely, the coffee was good, but best of all were the smiles from ALL of the staff, looks like they actually enjoy their jobs.I liked this very much, I'll be back
We dropped in for breakfast and enjoyed the great atmosphere.The cafe was busy, but the service was speedy and efficient.I loved the smashed avocado with some bacon and my husband really enjoyed his bacon and egg roll.The bacon was cooked to perfection.
I like it how they have seats on the sunny and the shady side of the building. Nothing wrong with the coffee, their mini salmon bagel is awesome. But overall, I thought they were on the pricier side, which amazes me considering their location.

Enjoyed breakfast at Double Barrel, great food and coffee.The cafe had a nice vibe and the decor was casual and chic.The owner introduced himself and made us feel very welcomed.
What a great little cafe , the food is consistently good with a great range of tasty options.The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service is spot on......love it:)
