My wife and I stayed at this hotel for one night. The lobby was impressive, and it was clear that the hotel often hosts meetings, parties, and events. The hotel was impeccably clean thanks to their attentive staff. Our room was sparkling clean and equipped with a nice TV. We appreciated the mini fridge in our room, which kept our drinks and leftover food cool. The pool was a perfect temperature and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable. Despite its proximity to I-294, the building was soundproofed, so we couldn't hear any highway noise. There was ample parking in a well-lit lot. As locals, this was a relaxing night away for us, and we will definitely be returning.
Check in was easy. The warm housemade cookie was nice to have after a long drive. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was spotless which takes up most of the weight when I'm rating hotels. Love the toiletries they supplied. The scent was delicate yet you felt clean without harsh chemicals. The bed was extremely comfortable as well. There were multiple points of entry which made coming and going really easy. The staff was very friendly and addressed all of our inquiries thoroughly. The breakfast buffet the next day was pretty good. They had hot and cold foods. It was convenient for us. Would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
I'm submitting this review to acknowledge the outstanding service of supervisor Bonnie. I incorrectly booked my hotel reservation for Friday night only instead of 2 nights Friday and Saturday. I didn't notice until Saturday morning when I got the paper invoice!I went to the front desk pleading for help with my problem. Bonnie told me there were no more rooms. Oh no!! Nevertheless, she kept plugging away at the computer for about 30minutes until she found a reservation for me. I didn't even have to switch rooms.She had sincere empathy for my predicament, and I'm so appreciative. Thank you Bonnie for being a life saver.
Bishop George Shaw had a 40th anniversary for church that he has pastor and been a minister I went to the event it was really nice Doubletree by Hilton did an excellent job in the service they provided. The food for the Anniversary banquet was pretty good ?. The service and atmosphere of excellent.
