I've been going to StandBy for many years, back when Steve was the owner, his prices were very reasonable, and the place was always clean. I moved out of state recently and came back to visit. I was surprised to be greeted by Kevin the new owner (not very friendly). It felt like I was walking into the back of a gas station deli. It used to be spotless, not anymore!! I was overcharged for my meal, $17 dollars for a sandwich?? You gotta be kidding me! Very disappointed to say the least! I'll tell ya what... I miss Steve's chili, because it does not taste the same! Don't waste your time.
Great food service and everything. Place is very clean. I go there with my wife every Sunday before work. Food is delicious and wellSeasoned. Staff is very friendly. When you go there ask for the hungry men. Its really good and big breakfast plate. Go there with an empty stomach!
The breakfast sandwich is solid, but it’s now twice the price compared to when it was Dougies. The chili is still decent, but it doesn’t compare to Steve's Chili. Overall, it feels more corporate now, lacking the charm of the beloved mom-and-pop local spot I used to know.
The food is delicious and the people who work there are very friendly. Meri is always there to assist everyone with her best customer service!

GET THE BEST EGG SANDWICHES HERE! Seriously the best breakfast in port chester. Fair prices and never a long wait. Highly highly rec.
