dinner for two. first greeted and ordered for eating and drinks. iced tee and a red wine, water, vegetarian burger and a kangaro steak. red wine was delivered immediately and the meal was shortly after, but two had to accept for. the icy that arrived a few minutes after the meal and the second question. the vegetarian burger was ok better than McDonald’s, but left room for improvement and came with a fair size salat and a teller full of chips, the kangaroo steak was also a fair size as they go, but was a bit hard, despite ordered and delivered more on the rare side. it was not helped by a steak knife that did not really fulfill the task. the less the steak was acceptable and the beans packed...
Firstly, as an Australian (not that the staff seemed to notice) I can say that a lot of the food was not authentically Australian. For example, we don't eat kangaroo, emu or crocodile meat and Fosters beer is not even sold in Australia, owned by...an Australian company, nor liked by most Australians. In any case, I found this restaurant okay, but for the price paid the serving size was quite small and the kangaroo meat tasted a lot like beef, just with a higher price. Unless you're really keen to try something so exotic that even Australians don't eat it, you might as well just stick to the steak/burger menu. The service was fairly fast but not all that friendly. While in town for a week with work we stopped by on the first evening for a meal and I decided a salad would be a nice lite option and chose the Old Boy's Steak and Salad which was so good that we had to...return for a second one later in the week. The second time a colleague had the same meal and agreed it was a seriously good piece of meat and the salad was good too. Mid week the place was heaving both inside and outside with several sports matches being shown on the TV. A good selection of beers and a separate smoking room for those that need it.
We celebrated the New Year here. We liked everything! Menu is not so big, but it shows that the cook knows what he does. Meat was very delicious, super prepared and with many vegetables. The waitress also asked how strong we want to fry our steak. She was nice and helpful, although there were many guests. The prices are not high either. Very recommended place! We're coming back!

rather a not-solution, as we had forgotten a reservation elsewhere on Friday night. it was very crowded. Nevertheless, the service worked well and all were friendly. the ribs were superlecker and the steak was wonderful. there the emergency solution has turned out to be a good choice. only manko was the loudness, but it would not be justified.
A very attractive place. I liked the decoration and lighting. The food was very delicious. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Finding the toilets was a bit adventurous at first, as they are a little removed from the ground, at least more distant than they are used for locals. The toilets were clean.
whether for a 'after work drink' or for a football evening - or simply a burger - or rather a crocodile or a good hutsteak? all right here at super friendly service place to be!
Friendly service and good food with big portions. Good atmosphere, also good just for drinks. Recommended for groups of friends.
