The venue is pleasant, but the drinks were average. I recommend avoiding seating near the kiosk, as the waitstaff tend to cluster around it. Don't be deceived by the seemingly quiet table in the corner; that's where the staff often gathers while waiting to order and chatting. It was quite hot inside, and having 6-8 people crammed into a small space didn’t help the situation. Management has room for improvement. I’ll be dining next door, so I won’t have to deal with this again. To one of the male waiters: you might want to reconsider your line of work, as waitstaff duties may not be suited for you. Went in for coffee and dessert. Unfortunately, both times we've come in for coffee, it's been warm, like it's been sitting in a pot all day. It shouldn't have been served. We'd rather wait for fresh, hot coffee than drink old coffee. The servers should know that. While the banana flambe had good texture and flavor, the chocolate mouse cake tasted like it had just come out of the fridge. It was a good cake, just had an off-putting flavor. Ultimately, we left earlier than we might have due to a customer at the bar. He was being incredibly loud and crass. I get it. It's a bar, but it didn't add to the atmosphere. It drove away business.

The food was solid as well. I ordered the Cajun pasta, which wasn't particularly innovative but still tasted great. My wife opted for the shrimp and grits, enhanced with a ginger chutney. While they may not surpass traditional shrimp and grits, they were definitely worth trying. I found them creative and unique; some might even prefer them over the classic version. Overall, this venue boasts a fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and exceptional drinks. We had a delightful evening there.

We enjoyed a rare date night and were impressed by both the food and, especially, the drinks. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. The decor and large windows create a fantastic atmosphere. The food options are inspired by Cajun cuisine, featuring a limited yet outstanding range of flavors. I'm originally from Lafayette, LA, and this is my favorite Cajun restaurant in Bryan, TX. The food is delicious, and the service is sweet and helpful! Be sure to try the bread pudding—it's a must! I often bring my son here for our special "Mommy Dates," and he enjoys it too! The video is from my birthday celebration in May 2022. The menu is somewhat limited and quite heavy. I really enjoyed the seafood étouffée; it was creamy and rich. Our server was fantastic and recommended some drinks that we liked a lot.
