Doytao Thai Sutherland

Nice, I'd recommend this restaurant. It's very possible to have a good meal here even if you don't eat any animal products.The food was tasty well-prepared, and everyone in our group enjoyed it. We ate outdoors, which was spacious and quiet, and the indoors area was also really attractive. The staff were pleasant and attentive without hovering. The restaurant is BYO.

Must be new owners as it smacks of Thai food made by Chinese. Poor quality, lacking subtle taste and everything was gluggy. Notice last good review was early 2019. I'm a long term Doytau Newtown and Sutherland customer but not been to this one in 2 years and it will be some time before I go again! A real pity.

The sizzling lamb was unfresh and bland. The BBQ octopus was cold. Not to mention the portion is small...Very disappointed with the food tonight. It used to be good.
