Had great experiences until a hair was found in my crab rangoon mid bite. It was a very long hair that was intertwined inside of the rangoon. Upon calling back I was told to take a picture and text it back. I was informed that there are no women in the kitchen even though the cashiers can be seen coming from the kitchen upon our many visits. The only option given was to bring in the hair with the remaining rangoon for an exchange. Very bad customer service, wouldn't even consider crediting. Will never return and will advise our family and friends to do the same after the horrendous customer service.
The veggie egg rolls were disgusting and seemed old. The only thing that made them edible was the sweet-and-sour sauce. I was excited about the spider roll until I started eating it. The spider roll was disgusting as well. On the menu they make the sushi look so fresh but this sushi was clearly not fresh and probably prepared 2 days previous. The shrimp fried rice was OK but had no flavor unless you add soy sauce the string beans were good. The staff also tapped on the counter with her pen while I was looking over the menu as if she was urging me to hurry up.
Consistency is the key in this post covid war. If you are going to survive in the restaurant business you have to provide good quality. You also have to provide good service. You cannot neglect your customers at the door. You're already building a barrier with your piece of plastic don't build a barrier with your built bad attitude. If your Cooks have to smoke have them go away from the building and not stand right inside your back door. It doesn't leave good Aesthetics for the people waiting for their food to get cooked for half hour. Good luck
This place is one of my favorite Chinese food restaurants in Northwest Indiana! I love that it’s authentic family owned. Unfortunately, they don’t have dumplings or steamed pork buns but the potstickers are pretty good. Also, the reason I’m giving them 4/5 stars is because whenever I ask for tapioca in my smoothies they always forget to add it in there but never forget to charge me extra for it.
