Ici, on mange bien! Having failed to get into two of the local French restaurants (Saturday night, fuller booked) we turned to the Dragon King and I’m so pleased we did. I had gyoza to start with, and I’m pretty sure they were home made. Amongst the best I’ve ever had. My husband ate Peking soup, also v good. The main courses were salt and pepper crevettes and boeuf sate. Both very good, especially the crevettes. Service was impeccable and altogether with wine, aperitif and dessert the bill came to only 60 euro. As Brits laid low by the exchange rate we were very pleased to eat so well for a relatively modest expenditure. A very positive experience all round.

Came here for the lunch deal and it was solid good food. Nothing extraordinary, but good for the prices. Portions were not huge (like Chinese restaurants in Belgium) but filling enough. Boyfriend had the spicy peking soup (very spicy and a bit salty) and I had mixed dumplings (decent but not great). As a main I had squid in spicy sauce and this was just delightful! Very tender squid, tasty sauce and good cantonese rice. Boyfriend had pork in sweet and sour sauce and he was very happy with it. The pineapple beignet at the end of the meal was a nice dessert.

A small and simple restaurant, which when it filled up had the (I guess owner) run off his feet. We arrived early and service was prompt. Everyone enjoyed all the food we ordered. The prices are very reasonable and although the portion sizes are smaller than usual, it meant we could order a few more dishes afterwards and still have a sensible bill for four people (including a bottle of champagne, because after all, this is Champagne). Pleased to see salt and pepper frogs legs, the noodles were very tasty, the spicy squid too.

We (six of us) drove into c en c for dinner as an alternative to eating at the Ibis hotel we were staying at (didn't fancy the burger based food on offer). After a brief wander around we decided to try the Dragon King. They had a table that could fit us but were clearly quite busy I suspect busier than usual as the service (providing menu, taking order) wasn't as quick as we would have hoped expected. However we (all regular Chinese food eaters) agreed the food was as good as any we had ever had and a good price.
