We ordered a large amount of food for our daughter's birthday through their website. It was a busy Saturday evening, so it took longer than expected. However, when they brought out our order, they apologized and gave us an extra item, which was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious as usual. The only minor issue was deciding on the spiciness level, as it was unclear if 1 or 5 was hotter. We chose 2 and found it to be plenty spicy, which we enjoyed. We highly recommend Dragon's Pond. One tip for those picking up food is to be aware that there are many restaurants with outdoor dining on Lotus, which may limit parking. Everything we ordered here was really very good. We wanted to keep eating. Everything is fresh and tasty. We liked oriental chicken salad, the Mandarin beef and pork pot stickers. Coming from NYC, Chinese food has always been cheap take out for us, but this place is not that. You pay a bit more but you can see and taste that the quality is much better. The staff here is great also. The complimentary garlic noodles included were sooo good. Thanks for that!
This restaurant serves authentic and delicious Chinese food! The pork fried rice was exceptional and may be the best I've ever had. In addition to that, I ordered sesame chicken, beef broccoli, chow mein, and chicken pot stickers, all of which were very good and fresh. The food was not greasy at all, and I felt great after eating - not too full or weighed down. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Chinese food!
I stopped in here for a quick dinner before a movie. Got the General Tao's chicken, and it was delicious! I ate the whole plate, which was quite a bit more than I normally would, but it was that tasty. The sauce might was sweet and spicy and the chicken was crispy. Perfect!
