Drift At The Piermont

We had a reservation. The view was incredible if you are near the water. We had a lovely view of the garden hose rolled up in the corner of the back of the deck. Nobody seated back there but us. It was so windy like a wind tunnel. The balloons from the people in front of us blew off the table and smashed glasses. Other than that, the appetizer crab cakes and baked clams were great. The cocktails looked pretty but tasted just ok. The salmon entree was good. The Lobster rolls were not the the best I've tasted. I actually brought mine home and threw it out. We brought our desserts home. I'd like to give it another try. We were there in late afternoon and were told 90 minutes max. Others there before us were there when we left. Maybe it's who you know. Just not worth the $250 tip we spent.

It was great! Food was amazing and it was nice to get my sister and brother in law out to their wedding venue since they were not able to get married this year there! We will see you next year piermont!

The view was beautiful, with the bistro lights, the water, etc. The food and wine was just ok, though. We were a party of 6 adults and 3 kids, and not one person loved their food.
