Drift Cafe Vista Lounge

Two of us brunched with coffee for 35 dollars. Reasonably priced and I think the food could be great. My eggs were tepid though, and I can't understand why. The service was prompt and the food came quickly. I ordered the traditional from the brunch menu so everything was in place for the meal to be outstanding. The ingredients are top notch and the bacon was unique and delicious. I loved that there were potatos, and I was satisfied with the portion, but the first bites were so dry i choked. Where it really fell down for me was when i walked through the front and was seated in the mid-level by the stairs. The small dirty sticky tabletop was not wide enough to hold both our plates. I used to love the way Drift was ran before, not sure why it changed to a typical restaurant with table service.. I guess it would be nice if service was top notch, but I feel like my latest experience wasn’t the best. Not only did our lunch meals take SOO inconveniently long to come to us, but our server wasn’t attentive. I also used to love the daily random salads they used to have back when the counter was downstairs, I used to look forward to getting some to go quite often. I think they should definitely go back to the “order and find a table” style they had prior.

had a great kite lunch at drift. was pleasantly surprised by eating. I knew they had a great coffee and I never tried. but I'm glad we decided to eat there. it is more than just coffee and crepes. we had cocktails and lunch. they also make a great burger. they did not know they were operated on all r floors, including a roof terrace that feels like they were in a lobster trap. the 3rd etage has a circulating outdoor deck session as well as within sitting and bar. Very unique place they go back to experience meals and drinks on every stage!

we arrived at 11:00 a.m. and we sat immediately. of course we had reservations that are highly recommended because not too long after there was a line to get it. the server were friendly and knowledgeable with everything on the menu. this is a place I should go back, because there was a lot on the menu I wanted to try. for a slight edible the portions were sufficient. as far as I am concerned, I could have used a larger part.

I had the Grapefruit mimosa and the old timer crest. the crepp is soft, mandling crispy, strawberry rhombob compot is sweet and tart, reminds me of how my opa used to make his compote, the impact cream created balance. I sat in the lounge with a beautiful view, soft music in the background. the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Loved the service and the food! Ordered the Eggie crepe and orange juice. Both were amazing! Went with my best friend on her birthday and she thoroughly enjoyed as well. We had a mini balcony for two and it felt like being transported away from Saskatoon for a bit. Amazing experience :

This is a quaint little restaurant in a lovely part of town. There’s a chill vibe here and the food is quite stellar. It’s a great place for a latte and breakfast. The service was a little slow but understandable given how busy is was. I will definitely be going back soon.

Great place to grab a bite. Outside patio, inside, second section seating areas. Lived the decorations. Big selection in their menu. They are also connected to Escape Sports, walk around while you wait for your food to be ready.

Had a fantastic experience on the rooftop patio. The food and drinks were great and the service was swift and kind! Overall, Drift is something to write home about for sure!

Love this place! So many tropical plants and make you feel tropical! The servers are friendly and food are so tasty!
