Drive Thru Pupusas

I tried pupusas for the first time and honestly, I found them rather unremarkable. It’s just masa and cheese—nothing more. Additionally, I was put off by the attempt to blend them with Mexican tacos. Tacos are their own thing, and pupusas are too; there's no need to mix the two. It seems like they might be doing this to gain more attention, thinking that the popularity of tacos would help promote their pupusas. However, it just didn’t work for me.

Wow. Just wow. These pupusas are crispy on the outside and melted cheesy goodness on the inside. Just a pocket of perfection. Jorge, the owner, is super sweet and made us feel very welcome as if he invited us for a home cooked meal. The pork and cheese was sublime. 10/10 would recommend. 11/10 definitely coming back.

The place I usually go to closed so I looked up another spot, and found this close to home! I tried their yummy revuelta and Loroco with cheese, both were really yummy the señor was super sweet to throw an extra one for me! Try this!!!

Best pupusas I’ve had in LA. Toasty on the outside and great flavor on the inside. Got the 1 and 2, and damn were they freaking good. Very much a hole in the wall spot but one that is for sure worth going to. Reserva una mesa ahora

I tried calling multiple times, but no one picked up. There’s also no storefront. I drove all the way here for nothing. Don't waste your time coming here; it doesn't actually exist.

Tasty Pupusas absolutely hit the spot! Order ahead by calling to avoid the wait. This is a lovely place with terrific sidewalk service and a family-run operation. 10/10

I drove 40 minutes because it was listed as open on Yelp and Instagram, but when I arrived, it was closed. I'm really disappointed.

These Pupusas are large and amazing. Jorge is personable and a pleasure. Couldn't recommend this place more. Reserva una mesa ahora
