Drive-in Tasty Freeze In Colorado Spr

Super cute little dive that has phenomenal chili! I had their frito pie, wasn't expecting much, but boy that first bite was yum!! The owner (I assume) seemed busy but she stopped and took the time to answer any questions I had. I also got a banana and marshmallow milk shake. Did I mention they used a real banana and not flavoring! Best milk shake ever!! Can't wait to bring my family here!

We got the Frito pie and it consisted of a handful of Fritos with some chili drizzled on top. It took forever to get our order and they each cost $5.50. We love the idea of this place and what it brings to our neighborhood but today’s meal was very disappointing. We’ve had better luck with their ice cream.

I have a soft spot for soft serve and am rarely disappointed with hidden soft serve shops. Vanilla, chocolate, or swirl. Choice of topping and dips. Plenty of good cheap burgers. This is an old school soft serve shop and will not disappoint. Just remember real soft serve can melt FAST!
