Drury Inn Suites San Antonio Riverwalk

I was so disappointed with this Hotel. My Husband and I were going to celebrate our 5 th wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday. I spoke with an agent in June to book our room for August 1st weekend. The agent i booked the room with promised we would get a suite with a balcony overlooking the riverwalk. My husband and I normally stay at Drury Inns all over. They have been the best hotels until now. When we arrived they told us all the rooms with balconies and the suites were booked. They only had a few room left and we were given a very small room but still charged appt 900$. They ended up refunding our money and we checked out. We were very frustrated and it left us scrambling trying to find another room near the riverwalk.. it was a bad experience and we were very disappointed because we were expecting to celebrate our anniversary in a romantic room as we were originally told by the booking agent.

I booked a room May 24 2024 and I requested a balcony room. It was my birthday and anniversary. When I get here they game me a regular looking room that wasn’t worth the stay that I was promised. I feel like I was treat awkward as of who I am. They didn’t accommodate me they only wanted to give us our money back. I stay at this place every where I go that has one this is the first one to turn me and my wife away. Everywhere else I have been treat with welcome. I would recommend and one of my skin color to visit this place we had to ride around to find us a place to stay for the weekend after driving 4 hour being excited about coming here for our honey moon and my birthday. I will never come here again ever that disappointed me and discussed us as well. I give that staff a thumbs down ?? Thanks for ruining our day. They rent our room to someone else.?

Best hotel at the Riverwalk even the extra pay for parking is worth it.
