Dry Dock Ice Cream Grill

ETA (Aug. 2024 : Bring cash. Dry Dock is now charging 2.75% for using a credit card. I 'm a local, and I 've been going to Dry Dock for years. I 've always thought that it was rather expensive for the type of place it is, but I paid the price because I thought the quality was good. That has, unfortunately, changed. I can 't speak to the actual dinners, but mainly the ice cream. I remember years back when I would get a strawberry milkshake, it had real strawberries in the ice-cream; they would get caught in my straw. It was really delicious despite the $7 price tag (yikes! . But last year the strawberry ice cream is just pink with no berries. It 's also sweeter, not as good. I 'll try it agai...

Been coming to Cape May for years but this is the first year visiting Dry Docks for desert. They do not disappoint! Great portions and great sundaes. Not a ton flavors but enough to make most happy. Im a peanut butter cup fanatic and they have a sundae that is perfect. I swapped pb ripple for chocolate but got extra pb added. Its amazing. Price is also a nice change for the area. Not cheap by any means but better price points that shops closer to the beach. Thats the only other drawback…its not near the beach so youll need to hop in the car or golfcart to get there. Overall my favorite of the CM ice cream shop choices, but isnt quite as convenient.

I came to this restaurant expecting none of less good ice cream and nice service. Which was recieved but, our order was forgotten and we watched about 20 other people get served before us even though they came in after. The ice cream was mid and I've had better.

You know this place is going to be good as soon as you step inside and get that slightly old-school vibe. I came for the ice cream which did not disappoint and my 2 year old daughter approved of as well. Staff is friendly, hard working and attentive. Reserva una mesa ahora

Not a bad ice cream stop, pretty average. Stopped by here for a milkshake while waiting for a tour we were scheduled to take. Nothing mind-blowing, but solid enough and quick, friendly service.

This is a tiny gem in Cape May. Great food, even better soft serve. Slightly higher prices than other places outside the shore, but well worth the price.

Delicious!! We stopped here on our way home from the beach. What a find! We all agreed it's some of the best ice cream we've ever had!!!
