Du Lac - Reservar una mesa

We reserved a table following a recommendation. We were not disappointed. Located in a lovely village besides a river the hotel also boasts access to a river cruise which we also took up. We had not reserved and were lucky that there was room for us. The plat du jour offered several options. I would highly recommend the salmon local fish dish. Service was exceptional and delivered in a friendly engaging manner. We have already booked our return (and reserved the 1 hour river trip too) with some friends.

A lovely table on the balcony with the view out over the river, gorge and castle. The staff were lovely and very helpful there was some good banter. The food was good For those who want it there is a boat drip down the river cruise, through the gorg, which runs in the summer afternoons. Details from the hotel.

We went back after we visited this place three years ago. This time it was sunny. Food is still good and the 1.5 hour during trip after that with the boat was also still nice. Only thing that could be improved is to not only have an English book during the trip but also someone who speaks English.

Great fun! Only 7€ for an hour in a single canoe. 5 of us went. Fabulous scenery and very calm water ideal for kids and beginners alike. 2 of our group decided to to stay behind on the lovely shady terrace overlooking the river and enjoy to spectacular views.

We enjoyed a delicious relaxed Sunday lunch here. Friendly service. We then undertook the 1.5 hour boat cruise which was very nice. Highly recommend both activities.
