For fish lovers this restaurant has to be a top destination in Biel. Their fish soup served with lovely garlic bread is very different than most broth or cream based fish soups but also incredibly rich and tasty. And the fish skewer comes with a lovely sauce plus generous amounts of spinach and rice. Their wine list is mostly based on local production but there is also a small international selection. Along the permanent dessert card staples, they also serve seasonal dishes and the spring means strawberries and coupe Romanoff, an absolutely perfect choice with lots and lots of fruit. Making a reservation is probably a good idea especially on busy weekend days.
We were 3 of us, 2 chose the house speciality pike, and one went for perch, preceded by a bruschetta and in my case a mixed salad. we chose the local chasselas white wine. It was a hot day, so we chose ice cream for dessert. The salad was crisp and fresh and the fish delicious, the ice cream was mediocre. The service was friendly and efficient and the atmosphere with the view of the lake was very relaxing. And they offer free parking for your car. I can recommend this restaurant for fish lovers.
Wir waren am Sonntag als Gruppe älterer Seeretter (Seegruftis) Zollikon dort. Es regnete aber unser Apero fand auf der seitlichen gedeckten Terrasse statt. Das freundliche Wirtepaar Annemarie und Bruno Stanger mit Ihrem Team verwöhnten uns währent 3Stunden. Der Hecht war hervorragend und ohne 1Grat. Einfach Spitzengastronomie. Wunderschön über dem Bieler- See gelegenes Restaurant. Im Sommer mit schöner Terasse. Ausgezeichnete Fischküche (habe nie besseren Hecht gegessen) hausgemachte feine Desserts. Das Servicepersonal und das Wirteehepaar sind sehr charmant und professionell.

A little place on the lake. Good friendly service. Has a basic menu on offer. The place has plenty of car parking, as you will need to drive. Place is on the Lake, and would be a nice setting for a meal during the summer time, as you can sit outside.
Die Fischspezialitäten (bspw. Hecht) sind sehr lecker und toll zubereitet. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Angenehmes, nicht überstilisiertes Ambiente. Jederzeit gerne weider!
Tolle Lage und Atmosphäre. Wir waren dort als ein Herr aus Frankreich im Restaurant seine Meeresfrüchte anbat, und das hat sich definitif gelohnt! Die Austern waren super!
