I know this place very well and the host himself who 's a very nice person! But today it was a disaster. The so-called 'lamb curry ' was awful and the service a disaster! This is way under pari. Sorry to say. Then on the door it says: open till 3 pm, or 15hrs. We were asked to get out at 2.10pm as the waiter had to go home for a nap before starting again at 6 pm. What is that? And it 's not the first time! You can do much better than this!

I'm not a regular customer, I have been there for lunch several times but will not return. My soup was absolutely tasteless. French fries replaced the rice ordered ... and the accompanying sauce was forgotten in the kitchen. The gentleman serving us must have been really tired he just put the bottle ordered on our table, without opening it, nor filling our glasses!

We were four of us, we all had moules frites, salades, and moelleux aux chocolat as desert, and a nice bottle of local rose, service was very friendly and the restaurant is really cosy. Prices were correct. Neiether expensive nor inexpensive. Can recommend foa all. Fine dining or family eat out with teenage children.

There are only a handful of places in the Lausanne area where we would order beef. The quality of the meat is most usually poor, but Restaurant du Prieure is the exception. Très joli cadre extérieur,très prometteur,mais nous sommes déçus de la qualité des plats, filets de perches fades servis avec des frites sortis du congélateur,dommage ,on s'attendait à mieux.Un seul bon point, le vin blanc (Chasselat) était délicieux.
