Ducky in the Field

First time here . Went along with mate to try it out . Not sure what kind of decor they are tying for but it seemed a bit of a mish mash of stuff. You order at counter then get table so helps if there are two or more of you. Mate ordered scrambled eggs and bacon, I had the pancakes with berries and ice cream . Both ordered coffees. His order came with poached eggs and my pancakes were a bit on the dry side . Coffee which I would have thought come before food came quite a bit later and was a bit on the the lukewarm side . Reasonably priced and staff were friendly . Overall it's really just a coffee shop with some food available. Nothing to really rave about .

Dropped in here as I had promised my daughter we would try ot out. As is becoming more the nirm we ordered and paid at the counter and then our food and drinks were bought out.It was a cold dreary morning so at first we sat inside, but it was so stuffy and noisy that we moved outside. Unfortunately this was more temperate but was just a dingy sidestrip with a few tables and nothing nice about it as it adjoins the carpark.The coffee was however quite nice and the cakes were delicious. We had the passionfruit tart and the lemon meringue.I probably wouldn't go back to sit in as there are better places locally but is fine for a quick catch up.

Recently I had brunch at the Ducky in the Field cafe. The staff is very friendly and polite.I have started with a fresh juice: Lime, Lemon, Orange and for my request they put a little Ginger in it too.It was so fresh and delicious!I absolutely loved this refreshing drink on a sunny day!I ordered the toasted schnitzel focaccia with mustered and cheese. It was very tasty!

I enjoyed the coffee made to order and the cheeky little scone jam and cream, as well as sitting in the sunshine under the new roofed area outside. You can sit inside but on a lovely Autumn day outside is best. I usually take my meals away as I'm having very productive workdays.Every time I'm there the welcome is warm and friendly. The staff is polite, funny and very kind.So far my favourite is the toasted snitzel focaccia with mustard.I go there in a weekly basis.Highly recommend this cafe

staff seemed friendly and there's a good selection of item's to choose from pastries to savory or hot foods and enjoyable beverages. we went on a nice sunny day but the bees and wasps were abit annoying hanging around the table not the places fault, so that was ashamed.

Great for a sandwich and fresh juices. Good for breakfast on the go. Pleasant service. Crowded at the cashier at times but they have a good selection, better than anywhere (including the regular franchises) in the area.

Went for breakfast and it was ok pretty standard but you didn't have to wait for a seat although it did get busy, there are nicer places in Berwick/ Beaconsfield with that hint of something a little differently Reserva una mesa ahora

Been there for breakfast & lunch a few times, good food with reasonable price & friendly service. The new outdoor seating area are very nicely done, certainly a standout feature among many local cafes.

Good place for lunch, good food, good service. Good food list, with all taste catered for, easy parking as well.
