Our greeting and service was fantastic! Call on to put your name on the list, and it could be fun to ask the wine barrel wall stand. We sat at an open table because the stalls were all full. Our server recommended the Rhineland Palatinate Sampler platter. It was delicious. We filled it with desserts of apple strudel with ice and Riesling wine sorbet.

One of the best beirgartens in the area. I'm trying to come by every trip. Large sampler plate and definitely great carvings! Amazing ambience and location. Quiet area, good food. Remember that this place is definitely not smoke-free and depends on the breeze when the smoke is staying.

Homey classic German decor. Great generous portions. Best waitress we have ever had in Germany. The whole experience was memorable. Worth at least a couple of return trips.

Good food and decent prices. Cool atmosphere as well. Not the best staff though.
