This is my favorite restaurant in Dresden! When I visit Dresden, I try to come here as often as possible. I 'm not a big fan of the typical meat you get in a döner, but vegetarian versions often just taste like a big salad. The halloumi döner here is insanely good, and strikes the right balance of filling without being overwhelming, and the sauces are great. People I 've eaten with have also enjoyed the meat döner, the lentil soup, and the vegetarian special plates. But the halloumi döner is just so damn good, I never get anything else! I 'd also recommend the mango ayran as a beverage. The ambience is great, much more traditional and ethnic than you typically get in a döner joint. The price...
funny thing happened to me here.. I ordered the #2 kabab and just as I was about to take my first bite the waiter snatched it from my hands and disappeared without a word.. ?? I was confused but also thankful because he most likely was doing me a favor of some sort.. a minute later he returned with a fresh piping hot version of what I just had.. it was delicious. I just wish I could've finished it (no, no one took the 2nd one.. just too big) I did try and eat the remainder for breakfast the next morning.. but cold onions and meat didn't really do the trick.. which is too bad.. anyways.. good food good memory
Wir waren seit vielen Jahren mal wieder hier. In den 2000ern war der Laden DER Tip in DD Neustadt. Heute gibt's (in unserem Fall) geschmacklosen vegetarischen Dürüm in knochentrockenem, splitternden und oben verbrannten Teig. Wozu die ausufernde Karte, wenn man nicht mal die Basics gescheit hinbekommt? Sauberkeit und Service mangelhaft. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht... Da schmeckt der Döner in unserem Provinzkaff besser. Für die Preise die hier aufgerufen werden, weiß ich nicht, wofür man mehr als einen Stern vergeben soll. Nie wieder...
Man muss ehrlich sein: Kulinarische Höchstleistungen darf man hier nicht erwarten. Es ist ein typischer Döner-Imbiss wie man ihn an jeder Hausecke findet. Ganz klare Daseinsberechtigung besteht in den Öffnungszeiten, hier bekommen verlorene Seelen auch nachts um halb 3 auf dem Heimweg noch die kater-prophylaktische Dönerbox (und das zügig), bevor die Straßenbahn weg ist.

Ich kenne den Imbiss seit den 90ern. Als Student bin ich nachts hier noch zum Essen gegangen. Ich komme nur noch alle 1-2 Jahre nach Dresden, jedes Mal ist es für mich ein nach Hause kommen. Und dieser Dürüm und Döner ist für mich der beste der Welt! Schön, dass es diesen noch nach so vielen Jahren mit der gleichen Qualität gibt!
Dürüm war leider vollkommen ungewürzt und schmeckte teils sogar wässrig. Ist seinen Preis, welcher mit 9€ sogar schon recht stattlich ist, nicht wert. Der Lahmacun war in Ordnung, jedoch hat es an Sauce gefehlt.
So gut wie zu jeder Zeit gibts leckeres Essen. Döner oder auch mal leckere Suppe. Immer eine gute Adresse in DD.
sweet places to sit. We were there Friday night and had to wait a little longer for dinner but it was worth it.
