The service was great. Friendly and thoughtful. I really appreciated the server bringing a plastic fork for the dessert we got to go. The person at the cashier station also did a solid by adding a napkin to the base of cookies so we could eat one on the car ride home. It is these touches that make us overlook the areas that could be improved upon. A little disappointing that the fried appetizer we ordered (before we placed our food order came out at almost the same time as our meal. On the plus side, it did leave me a large amount of food to take home and I like nibbling a few hours after I eat and leftovers means and extra meal we don't have to think about or cook on our own. There are some incredibly critical reviews about Duffy's Restaurant! Comments about presentation and lack of flavor, etc., are simply mistaken. Our food had a genuine taste that was refreshingly home-cooked. We enjoyed our time in the lounge, which had a charming, old cigar room vibe. Our waitress, Tammy, was absolutely outstanding. She really turned my rough day around. Thank you so much, Tammy!

Wow. Perfect meal for me. I had the Swedish pancakes. The bacon was good, the egg perfectly cooked and tasty, and the pancakes were unbelievable. My husband had the corned beef, made in house. It was good, but my meal blew his out of the water. Fantastic. Ate the pancakes with raspberry jam instead of syrup. I could eat that every day.

I visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a fantastic experience. However, my recent visits have been quite disappointing. Have always had good service and food when my family goes there. We used to live in that area and we always have to stop there when we go down to the harbor. I have been to London and the fish n chips at duffys is far more delicious. And I will have to say that my favorite is the razor clams.

The service at Duffy's is exceptional, whether you're a local or visiting from out of town. The Monte Cristo sandwich was delicious, and the club sandwich was equally impressive. The entire staff is very friendly and makes you feel welcome in the restaurant.

For over 25 years, we've made it a point to visit Duffy's every time we're in Long Beach. The portion sizes are generous, the food is delicious, and the staff is both friendly and attentive.

I'm so glad that GF now offers gluten-free bread for those of us with allergies. I can finally enjoy my favorite Club House Sandwich again!
