I took my daughter for lunch for a quick bite. I usually go in the evening and have always loved the pub feel it had. It's been a while and we found the room itself to be very worn and haphazard. The big screen tvs were fine but to have visible cables hanging with dust webs right above where I was going to eat bothered me. Somehow made it feel unclean. We ordered fries with gravy and a poutine. Fries were good but gravy was gelatinous and gloppy. Our server was quick and attentive so nothing but good things to say about that. I will go again, at night, and probably just for pints.

Well, considering it was a lunch time visit it was strange we were only offered a breakfast menu though it was OK with enough variety. Being in the very warm sun room it seemed our server forgot about us and had to be found. Breakfasts were all pretty non-inspiring. The food was cooked OK though poached eggs on the skillet dish were hard boiled instead of medium and it could have done with some salt. Would not recommend this place for a good breakfast though I suspect the main pub food is better judging by other reviews.

This is probably one of the best places in Kitchener/Waterloo for live music. I've been there many times (usually Saturdays) and all the bands playing were great! Food is good and prices are very reasonable.

Went yesterday complained about the food , it was of very poor standard, worst food I very eaten in Canada.. Music was great. Please enjoy the pub, just don't eat there

Typical English style pub fair, but the place comes alive when there is live music on weekend nights. Packed and fun. Always a great time.
