We booked a Sunday Roast for 26 family members, our annual Christmas gathering. We did not know what to expect as we live far away but this pub is halfway for all of us. So accommodating, welcoming atmosphere, very pleasant staff, excellent service. The food was very tasty, plenty of choice, big meal and hot, served with a smile. Food drinks: We were on a weekend away in Chard and wanted a Sunday roast. Our friend found this and it was well worth the 20 minute drive. Quite easily the best carvery I've ever eaten and extremely good value for money. We are planning to do the same break next year and are already looking forward to returning for this meal Service: 5
