Going through the village i called in the duke for a drink, seeing the Timothy tailors sign on the pub. Unfortunately there was no cask conditioned real ale on, so I just had a pint of keg beer. The staff were friendly and it's a nice cozy bar showing Sport on the TV. There's a separate area set aside for dining as the pub has a good reputation for its home cooked food. There's a nice outside seating area and a car park. Parking: There is a decent sized car park on either side of the pub. There is also free on street parking on the road next to the pub. First time visiting today and was so happy we did. The young lady was kind and pleasant and very accommodating our dog was looked after with fresh bowl of water. The food was gorgeous hubby said one of the best burgers he's had in a pub in a long time. I ordered roast beef Sunday lunch was asked how I wanted my meat cooked but unfortunately it was quite ready so went for my second option of the chicken and leek pie and wasn't disappointed. We will be returning

We had a lovely steak night, food was excellent. Will certainly visit again.
